KINGS Heath boss Sean Lawless is worried his underachieving side will be drawn into the Midland Combination Premier relegation picture after Saturday's 2-1 derby loss to Feckenham.
While the Millers continued their bid for second place, the Kingsmen plunged further towards the other end of the table and have only a six point cushion on second from bottom Alveston having played two games more.
Lawless has signed a teenage goalkeeper from Sunday junior side Rubery but says he is unwilling to pitch him into a dogfight and will keep faith with Brian Cant.
Sixteen-year-old shot stopper Daniel Moseley is still waiting to hear the results of a takeover bid at Third Division Carlisle.
He has been tracked by the Cumbrian side and hopes to join the club, Lawless is monitoring the situation and hopes Moseley Long term injury victims Dave Crumpton and Colin Campbell are the only absentees as Heath entertain fellow strugglers Bolehall Swifts at their adopted Lye Meadow home on Saturday (ko 2.45pm).
