WELL-KNOWN television newsreader, Bob Warman, has bought a house in his "favourite" village -- Belbroughton.
The veteran Central News presenter hopes to move into the picturesque village towards the end of the summer with his wife, Diane, and children, Guy, aged ten, and Claudia, aged eight.
Mr Warman, who has lived in Edgbaston for 13 years, said he is leaving the city to be closer to his favourite pub, The Queens, in Belbroughton High Street.
He said he jumped at the chance to buy a house in the desirable village, adding: "I've known Belbroughton for years. It's a favourite village of mine."
Belbroughton Parish Council chairman, Tim Cherry, said: "We're delighted to have a tv celebrity to come and live among us."
