GARDENING CLUB: 'My plants, your questions' was the topic on Wednesday, April 24. This was expertly presented by the chairman, Colin Hill, who posed the question "Can you imagine a garden without conifers " and then proceeded to show us a wide variety from the common Leylandii which kept under control is a very useful hedging plant, to some that are deciduous.
The monthly competition of a flowering pot plant was won jointly by Jean Dyke and Betty Dennis.
The next meeting will be at the Village Hall on Wednesday, May 22, at 7.30pm. New members are always welcome.
