ATHLETICS: A Kidderminster and Stourport Athletic Club relay team competed against the country's top clubs at Sutton Park, Birmingham, on Saturday in the National 12-stage event.
They finished 30th out of the best 74 teams who qualified from around the country with the event featuring alternating long and short legs.
Rob Minton ran the first leg in 30 minutes 33 seconds and passed to Gary Corbett who ran the fastest short leg for the club, 16-24.
Corbett was followed by Matt Vaux-Harvey who recorded the fastest long leg for the club, 26-23.
Other times: Andy Millwood 17-05, Simon Wilkinson 26-59, Rob Chrzan 17-06, Alan Jackson 27-48, Gary Bonner 17-57, Tom Kenderdine 28-12, Steve Gould 16-40, Steve Smith 30-22 and Ian Townsend 16-41 on the final leg.
