OH no another duets album.

After a hundred years in the music business with only the terminally annoying Shout to her name, pint-sized star Lulu is the latest to jump on the bandwagon - after recording the ubiquitous Audience With of course...

But wait, in a genre generally used as a vehicle for a few lame covers and a chance to sing with contemporary stars, Lulu has put together a real gem.

Only three stars maybe but a good three stars and don't be put off by a track listing which includes Lulu and Cliff Richard - Reunited, you've got a skip forward button, right?

The veteran popster mixes the tempo from the contemporary Phunk Phoolin (with Kerphunk) to ballads like With You I'm Born Again (on which ex Wet Marti Pellow showcases a wonderful silky vocal talent rarely glimpsed in his damp days).

The jewel in the crown is undoubtedly an impressive cover of Beach Boys classic Sail on Sailor, featuring the immaculate vocals of Sting.

Offerings with Paul McCartney Inside Thing (Let Em In) and pub singer Ronan Keating (We've Got Tonight) are lame but more than made up for by classics like I'm Back For More (with Bobby Womack) and Teardrops (with Elton John).
