BUDDING young Worcester artists are being invited to show off their talent in a national calendar design competition.
Phonak Hearing Systems is staging the competition that is open to five to 16-year-olds with hearing difficulties.
Last year, there were more than 600 entries, with 12 winners having their designs published in the 2002 calendar.
This year's winners will scoop £50 of vouchers of their choice and their school will receive £50 of WH Smith vouchers.
"This is a great opportunity to celebrate the achievements of hearing impaired children," said Roger Lewin, head of audiology for Phonak.

"It gives them a chance to express themselves and to have their talent acknowledged by having it published on the calendar."
Entries can be drawings or paintings, but must be no larger than A3 and must be accompanied by an entry form, which are available from Nicki on 0800 9800747.
The closing date is Friday, June 14, and everyone entering a design will receive a small gift from Phonak.
