EASTNOR Castle's new Tree Trail will be opened for the first time during a Woodland Festival this weekend.
The festival will take place in the dramatic setting of the grounds and will also feature the Heavy Horse Loggers United Kingdom championships and tree felling demonstrations.
There will also be chainsaw sculpture, tree surgeons, furniture makers and coppice workers and gifts and garden products to buy.
The Tree Trail itself is opened tomorrow (Saturday) with free guided tours of the castle's arboretum by photographer and tree expert Archie Mills.
Elsewhere the event has woodland story tellers and face painters for children.
It will also offer free horse and carriage rides in the castle grounds and a pig roast and bar.
The Eastnor Woodland Festival runs both tomorrow and Sunday from 11am until 5pm. Tickets cost £3.50 for adults, £2.75 for senior citizens and £2 for children.
