ONE of the word's most eminent explorers, Sir Ranulph Twisleton-Wykeham-Fiennes, will be talking about his life and travels at Worcester's Huntingdon Hall on Tuesday, June 11.
An Old Etonian and former SAS officer, Sir Ranulph has achieved renown from his expeditions to the desolate trackless reaches of the Earth.
His travels have included both Poles and, by way of a change, the Sahara desert.
In Living Dangerously, sponsored by the Royal Geographical Society, he will be talking about his expeditions, which have also raised many millions of pounds for charities.
Tickets for the lecture (£10, £9 concessions, £8 RGS members) are available from the box office on 01905 611427.
