IF the Post Office moves? What an opportunity for Malvern development. Imagine, a new (not quite square) square open air caf environment French style!
A new art gallery on the garage site (to replace that cellar at the Library) and a visitors centre that is really central.
What's more it could be possible to pedestrianise Church Street. How? Well by diverting traffic from the traffic lights one way up via Grange Road - Abbey Road then a new bit up via the back of Warwick House and Baptist chapel to where the Abbey Hotel would only need to sacrifice two yards of its north garden to gain Belle Vue Terrace top.
One way down via Edith Walk to Graham Road. So freeing Church Street of its eternal traffic problems.
It could be like Worcester High Street with the possibility of French-style market stalls once a week. I hope someone is listening?
