FOR many weeks now, I have followed the fierce arguments raging over dog poo on the Malvern Hills. Before World War 3 begins right here in Malvern, may I offer to mediate and thereby finish the subject for a while?
I suggest that with dogs that poo on or near the footpaths, the owners do the decent thing and collect and take it to a bin. With dogs that poo in the rough, or long grass, it is left to the elements. The odds of treading in it in the rough are longer than winning the Lottery!
With our once proud nation on the verge of losing to Brussels both its national identity and its total independence, via adoption of the Euro, I think there are many other more important and interesting subjects to discuss.
Maybe the editor would kindly poo poo any more letters that refer to dog mess. Thank you.
