FOOD seems to have been in the news recently.
A survey told us the three foods most hated by children are: avocado, leeks and marrow! Not surprisingly the favourite three are: chocolate, chocolate biscuits and crisps.
Another food story came from Buckingham Palace. The chefs there devised Coronation Chicken in 1953 and this year have come up with a new dish entitled Jubilee Chicken.
At the Baptist Church we enjoy eating together - and on some Sundays, like this week, we put on a lunch after morning service.
But what about our Spiritual food? Where does that come from? The sort that helps our faith grow so we become whole people in body, mind and spirit.
Well it comes from the Lord Jesus Christ. He once described himself as the Bread of Life. And Christians believe that by 'feeding on Jesus' - that is worshipping him and serving him as our Lord - we experience life at its fullest and most satisfying.
REVEREND IAN GREEN, Minister, Malvern Baptist Church.
