EVEN while Star Wars II: Attack of the Clones still shows at Malvern Cinema, tickets are going on sale for the summer's second big sci-fi blockbuster, Spiderman (12).
Based on the popular Marvel comic it tells the story of nerdy high-schooler Peter Parker, who develops super-powers after being bitten by a GM spider.
The film opens on Friday, June 14, and the box office in Malvern is giving away Spiderman posters and hologram stickers to all those who book in person - while stocks last.
The film has already opened spectacularly in the US, with its opening weekend takings beating those of the Harry Potter film.
Spiderman is on for a fortnight with daily showings at 7.30pm and 3pm matinees on Saturdays, Sundays and Thursdays.
