THE grand re-opening of a Worcestershire Tourist Information Centre is scheduled to take place tomorrow.
Gulf War veteran General Sir Peter de la Billire has been invited to be the guest of honour at the re-opening of the Ross-on-Wye TIC.
After cutting the red tape at 11am, he will become the first person to enter the new-look centre, which has been refurbished thanks to a grant from regional development agency Advantage West Mid-lands.
The grant formed part of the county's recovery programme following last year's foot-and-mouth crisis.
The centre will now offer a more comprehensive display area for locally-produced crafts and gifts.
