A MAN was still being treated in hospital today after a serious assault in Hereford left him with a fractured skull.
The victim, who has not been named, was attacked along with another man inside a house in Kingsway, on the city's College Estate.
Two attackers barged in to the property and began lashing out. They left their first victim with a fractured skull. The other man suffered a head injury and cuts and bruises.
Both were taken to Hereford General Hospital.
The second man was discharged shortly after he was admitted on Thursday, June 6, but the first remained in hospital, police said.
The attackers are described as white males, of heavy build, in their late 30s or early 40s. One wore a camouflage jacket.
