VISITORS to Eastnor Castle were wise to the ways of the countryside at the weekend when the historic property, near Ledbury, staged its third Woodland Festival.
Tree-felling demonstrations, the heavy horse loggers championship, horse and carriage rides, chainsaw sculptures and furniture makers were all on hand to entertain the crowds on Saturday and Sunday.
In addition, children were treated to woodland storytellers and face painting, while bars selling local beers and ciders and a pig roast formed part of the many attractions.
