FUTURE plans for Worcester were today open for public scrutiny as the city council held its roadshow displaying the draft Local Plan.
People living in the Faithful City have been invited to give their opinions on the plan at the Green Centre, Gresham Road, Dines Green, today and tomorrow.
Local Plan experts will be on hand to answer questions between 2pm and 8pm.
Leaflets will also be available.
Important
Mark Middleton, head of planning and economic development at Worcester City Council, said the consultation was extremely important.
"This stage is an important one in the formulation of a Local Plan for Worcester," he said.
"The first round of consultation was very encouraging, with more than 700 suggestions of both support and objection.
These have now been analysed and, as a result, extra revisions have been proposed.
"It is these revisions which are the subject of this second round or 'revised deposit', so we're urging people to have their say."
The Local Plan will also be available for inspection in Orchard House, Farrier Street, or at the Guildhall on weekdays until Wednesday, July 24.
Information is also available at www.cityofworcester.gov.uk
Alternatively, a copy of the proposed changes can be obtained by calling 01905 722 528.
