A WORCESTER couple hope a TV programme will help them sell up and move to sunnier climes.
Paul Middleton and Sue Kerrigan will leave the city once their Dent Close home is sold.
For the past two days, BBC1's Trading Up programme has been carrying out a makeover on the three-bedroom house.
For two months, it has been on the market with Remax at £96,950, with no success.
"I hope it sells now after going through this," said owner Paul Middleton, who lives at the house with his partner of seven years.
"It's been quite nerve-racking with 10 people racing around your house, pulling it to pieces.
"But it looks totally different now. I'm amazed at what they've done. When it's sold we'll be moving to Spain where we're building our own villa."
The team, which included Big Brother winner Craig Phillips, spent two days redecorating the lounge, dining room and master bedroom.
"We go into houses where a lot of the dcor needs improving," said Adam Hopkins, of Trading Up.
"Once we've finished and the owners get viewings, it's ready to move into. We have quite a good success rate.
"We've sold three or four houses in the first week."
The programme will be broadcast in September.
