FAIRFIELD Villa Ladies continued their excellent six-a-side form with a convincing win at Southam United on Sunday.
Despite a squad of only six players, Fairfield remained unbeaten to follow up their win in Penzance last month.
Fairfield comfortably won their group with victories over Birmingham University (2-0), Southam United (3-1), including a Kelly Godfrey hat-trick, Stratford (3-0) and a 0-0 draw with Redditch United.
Fairfield needed a Godfrey penalty in a sudden death shoot-out to beat Marconi in the semi-final. Goalkeeper Emma Moore both scored and saved a penalty in the shoot-out.
Fairfield's opponents in the final were Stratford, who defeated West Brom on penalties in their semi final.
Godfrey was again the hero again in the final as she scored in the first period of extra time to see Fairfield to a 1-0 win over Stratford.
Fairfield are looking for sponsors for next season. Anyone interested can contact manager Matt Williams on 01608 662316.
