STUDLEY'S South African overseas star Brandon Miller took seven wickets to give the home side a 112-run victory against Tamworth on Saturday.
On a very wet wicket, Studley lost the toss and were put into bat.
A combination of bad bowling by Tamworth and Studley batting extremely well gave the home side a 179-7 total off 52 overs.
Harris top-scored with 59, Smith made 39 and Kelso 25 also made good contributions.
Then Miller struck, see ing Tamworth off for just 67.
Captain Mark Lewis said: "We batted extremely well and after that, we were pretty confident.
''And Miller destroyed them with his seven wickets.''
He added: "We are now only three points off second place in the table and if we continue this good form, I don't think we'll be a million miles away."
Studley play away on Saturday against Four Oaks Saints, a team they beat twice last season.
