DEAR EDITOR - I was very pleased to see mention in a recent edition of Edward Winslow and his portrait in Plymouth, Massachusetts.
Do your readers know that there is a copy of this portrait in St Richard's House?
It can normally be seen on request.
Part of the inscription on the frame reads: Presented to the Town of Droitwich by the Historic Winslow House Association of Marshfield, Massachusetts, United States of America, on the occasion of the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, June 2, 1953.
This is particularly interesting as it is connected with the Jubilee.
There is also a mistaken date which I assume is a misprint.
His first turn as governor was in 1633-4.

Droitwich Spa.
