POUNDING drums brought a Bromsgrove first school alive when youngsters put their musical talents to the test.
Pupils at Tardebigge First School in Church Lane enjoyed a visit from Kidderminster musician Rod Smith, who held a series of percussion workshops at the school yesterday (Tuesday).
Every child had the chance to play an authentic African drum and learn about changes in rhythm and tempo.
Headteacher, Susan Helps said: "The children had a fantastic time and really worked well together.
"The year four pupils put on a performance at the end of the day to show us what they had learnt."
