LITERERARY reviewers of the future are having their opinions on newly published books put on the world wide web.
Beaconside Primary School in Hazel Road, Rubery, has been asked to take part in a nationwide scheme which previews children's books selected for the Carnegie and Grenaway Book Awards.
Youngsters who get to review the books have their views posted on a web page and can e-mail other children elswhere taking part to swop views and opinions.
Teacher, literacy co-ordinator, Lorraine Griffin said it's the first time the school has participated in the scheme which is run in conjunction with the country library service.
"The children enjoy it," she said. "It is an ideal way of getting them to enjoy books and think about what they are reading."
