FAMILIES got the chance to find out where to go for help on a fun day at a Bromsgrove school.
Benefits and advice agencies set up stalls at Charford First School, in Charford Road, for an afternoon.
Parents had the chance to find out what was on offer while entertainers took the children off their hands for face painting and disco dancing.
"It was very well attended," said Jane Cunningham, district development officer for the Early Years and Childcare Service, which organised the event.
"We thought this was the best way of getting the message across and it seems to have worked," she added.
A wide variety of agencies, including the Inland Revenue, employment services, childcare training, the police and the fire service were on hand, among others, to hand out information.
