CHRISTIANS in Droitwich Spa are speaking out for trade justice in Third World countries.
Worshippers at town churches have been backing the Trade Justice Movement and will support a mass lobby at Westminster on Wednesday, June 19.
Campaigners want world trading rules altered in favour of impoverished nations.
Currently high import tariffs cripple struggling economies trying to import their goods into richer countries.
Thirty seven organisations are backing the campaign including Christian Aid, Oxfam, Tearfund and the Methodist Relief.
Many were involved in the successful Drop the Debt campaign, which encouraged Western countries to slash debts owed by the Third World.
Now the protesters want to press on and ensure the fairest possible conditions for future worldwide trade.
Judith Cussen, the chairman of the Sacred Heart RC Church justice and peace group, wants to see thousands of people lobbying for the cause.
"Our aim is to lobby MPs and hopefully this peaceful protest will make the Government realise the strength of feeling about this topic."
Many town churches also run Traidcraft stalls selling coffee, tea, sugar and chocolate.
This helps to ensure people making the goods get a fair price for their items.
A coach has been organised to take Spa campaigners to London and tickets are £8.
Judith added: "We would welcome support from all denominations and still have a few spaces on the coach."
