COSTUME, colour and crafts will fill the streets when Alcester holds its annual themed market on Sunday.
This year's theme will be the Victorian era and delights on offer will include performances by Alcester Male Voice Choir, the town's ladies choir, Alcester Victoria Silver Band, Morris dancers, fire eating, a town raffle, various competitions and more than 40 stalls.
Everybody is invited to come in Victorian costume to pay tribute to "Queen Victoria" - who will be officially opening the event.
Residents are also asked to bring along their favourite Queen's Golden Jubilee photograph they took during the recent celebrations.
There will be a stall run by the Jubilee Committee where people can bring their pictures and a prize will be awarded for the best one.
A spokesman said: "Everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy themselves. It promises to be a fantastic, fun-packed day."
The day's programme is:
l 1pm: Stall judging.
l 1.30pm: Procession from Bleachfield Street led by Alcester Victoria Silver Band.
l 1.40pm: Judging of fancy dress.
l 2pm: Official opening by "Queen Victoria".
l Awards for shop window and stall competitions.
l 2.15-2.45pm: Alcester Victoria Silver Band on church green.
l 2.45-3.15pm: Male Voice Choir in Baptist Church.
l 3.45-4.25pm: Ladies Choir in St Nicholas' Church.
l 4.15-4.30pm: Alcester Victoria Silver Band.
l 4.30pm: Drawing of town raffle and lucky programme.
l 5pm: Songs of Praise - Alcester Churches Together on church green.
