STONE failed to field a full side for the second week running and paid the penalty with a home defeat in Worcestershire Saturday League Division Five.
The villagers suffered a seven-wicket defeat to fellow mid-table side Hanley Castle and Upton.
Stone were put in to bat first and at one stage were going well at 82-2, thanks to good knocks by Gareth Bryant (35) and Pete Glover (29).
But they lost their last seven wickets for 31 with only Fred Buxton (15) offering any resistance from the later order batsmen.
Stone managed to take two early wickets in reply but Hanley's Grant Mathews made 62 not out to lead them home with 12 overs to spare.
Stone 113,
Hanley Castle and Upton 114-3.
