THE National Lottery Awards for All group has awarded the unusual Worcestershire cricket club Fossils £1,195.
The nomadic club brings cricket to both sexes over 50 years of age and the disabled.
Treasurer Bill Jones was delighted with the award which has been earmarked for essential equipment and to secure their future.
Fossils, who will play nearly 50 fixtures this season, take 37 cricketers and supporters for three games in Cornwall in September.
