THE appliance of science is proving a big hit with pupils in a village near Droitwich.
Students at Cutnall Green First School, in School Road, are enjoying a science week to mark National Science Year in Britain.
Eighty-nine children have already investigated their physical abilities with a number of experiments.
On Tuesday, they were paid a visit by a Star Lab, which gave them the opportunity to learn about space and the plants.
Yesterday, the budding boffins learnt about water and today some of the school's older children were due to visit the new Thinktank in Birmingham, which boasts a wealth of scientific information.
"The children are already having a fabulous time and have lots to look forward to," said science co-ordinator Angel Sherriff.
"We plan to round the week off with a colour theme day, when the children will be asked to dress in one of the colours of the rainbow in order to learn about weather."
