TWO popular nurseries run by Worcester College of Technology Childcare Services are celebrating their first anniversary.
The Community Play Tec scheme has proved invaluable to student parents, who can access the care while carrying out their studies.
The two sites, one based at the college's Deansway campus and another at the YMCA in the city, provide places for toddlers and the under-twos.
The Worcester Community Education Forum supported the scheme's original bid for funding as it recognised that adults with small children would struggle to attend training sessions and learning opportunities offered elsewhere in the city.
The college also operates a mobile crche and childminding facilities, to allow as many parents as possible to access courses at the college.
