THE UNIVERSITY OF THE THIRD AGE:. The Pershore U3A next meets on Tuesday in the Civic Centre at 2pm. Visitors are welcome to join the members to hear Mr A Whiting give a talk on the History and Development of the Almonry, Evesham.
If you are over 50 and not in full-time employment then why not come along and meet a friendly group which provides an opportunity to expand your interests?
As well as holding meetings of general interest each month the U3A provides the opportunity to develop skills and knowledge through special interest groups. There are at present about twenty such small groups in Pershore, meeting regularly and covering all manner of interests, activities, hobbies and skills.
ARTHRITIS RESEARCH CAMPAIGN: Are holding their Annual Garden Party on Saturday June 22, between 2pm and 4pm. The party is being held at Upper Brookend Farm, Brookend Lane, Kempsey, off the A38.
HEARTBREAK PRODUCTIONS: Are performing Romeo and Juliet, directed by Marcus Fernando at Caldwell House, on the A44, three miles from Pershore, opposite the Droitwich turning, on Sunday June 16 at 5.30pm. Tickets are £10, which will include a plated tea. For further details ring 01905 840894.

FLOWER AND CRAFT SHOW: Are now circulating programmes, schedules and entry forms for this year's show which will take place on Saturday, August 10, between 1pm and 5pm at The Angel Hotel Riverside Gardens, High Street, Pershore by kind permission of Mr Juan Mendez. Programmes and schedules are available in most shops in town.
FRIENDS OF PERSHORE COTTAGE HOSPITAL: You are also invited to a summer barbecue pig roast at The Star in Pershore with melodious music provided by the Oxford Classical Jazz Band. WORCESTER ASSOCIATION FOR THE BLIND: Are holding their Summer Bazaar on Saturday at the Guildhall, Worcester, 9.30am. Entrance is free.

NUMBER 8 GALLERY: Landscapes of the Mind, an exhibition of abstract art by Will Clapton to Saturday. Monday June 17, an exhibition of paintings by Bewdley artist Kate Wrigglesworth.
