THINGS are looking shipshape at the Royal Shakespeare Company, which is celebrating the rave reviews for its current production of Eastward Ho!
Actors Michael Matus and Billy Carter, who play the roles of Sir Petronel Flash and Quicksilver, donned the ship-shaped head dresses that they wear at the beginning of the bawdy comedy by Ben Jonson.
The outlandish headgear was designed by production designer Robert Jones and made by Charlotte Salisbury of the RSC hat department.
Eastward Ho! runs in repertoire at the Swan Theatre, Stratford, until September 14. Tickets are available from the box office on 01789 403403.
