ARNOLD Ridley's classic thriller The Ghost Train rolls into Malvern Theatres on Monday, June 24, and a stunning cast of favourite actors disembark.
Jeffrey Holland, Louise Jameson, Henry McGee, Christopher Strauli and Margaret Ashcroft star in the show which runs until Saturday, June 29.
The drama was first produced in 1925 and filmed no less than three times. A foolish man accidentally strands six passengers at a small Cornish wayside station. Despite the stationmaster's weird stories of a ghost train, they decide to stay the night in the waiting room. Soon they regret the decision as ghostly and not so ghostly apparitions materialise before the man reveals the true reason behind the night's events.
The writer is best known for playing the doddering Private Godfrey in TV's Dad's Army.
Performances are at 8pm with matinees Wednesday and Saturday 2.30pm. Tickets cost £18-£10 from the box office on 01684 892277 or www.malvern-theatres.co.uk.
