A DISQUALIFIED driver arrested after a police chase has had his jail sentence cut on appeal at Worcester Crown Court.
Lee Reynolds, 28, of Offmore Road, Kiddermin-ster, was arrested last September after he was seen at the wheel of a car in the town, said Paul Whitfield, prosecuting.
Reynolds initially pleaded not guilty and was sentenced to four months' jail for another offence, a breach of a community penalty.
When he changed his plea to guilty on the disqualified driving charge, the magistrates sentenced him to a consecutive six months.
Simon Kellett, for Reynolds, submitted that 10 months' jail was excessive. Recorder Gareth Evans QC agreed and reduced the total to six months.
