MOTORSPORT: Robin Morewood and his wife Gill won their third event in a row at Bewdley Motor Cycle Club's third round of the British Sidecar Trials Champs over Clee Hills on Sunday.
The Morewoods dropped 41 marks, 19 less than 11-times champions Robin Luscombe and Les Ashby whose long-standing stanglehold on the championship looks to have been broken.
Best of the supporting class solos was Andrew Arden who topped the twin shock class with 19 marks lost.
The pre-65 class was won by Peter Sale on 33, while Kidderminster brothers Simon and Christopher Fairbrother dropped 136 marks in their first attempt at the sidecar class to claim third place in the newcomers section.
Around 70 riders took part in the 40-section event over the 24-mile south Shropshire course.
