IT was left to Tewkesbury's second team to consolidate their position at the top of Division Two with a four-wicket victory over Woodmancote after the senior side were rained off.
On a damp but by no means difficult wicket Woodmancote slumped to 44 all out with no batsmen making double figures.
Frank Daly was the pick of the Tewkesbury bowlers with 4-8 including a stunning return catch. Dan Clarke and Warren Deeming both took two wickets and John Allcoat and John Adams a wicket apiece.
Tewkesbury replied positively but some injudicious shot selections reduced the visitors to 41-6 before captain Mark Hodson saw the team home.
