A GIANT image of top stage and screen actor Pete Postlethwaite has appeared in Kiddermin-ster as part of a major police campaign.
The picture, together with the caption, "buying stolen goods - it's criminal", on a billboard on Comberton Hill, is one of a series of adverts which will be used to promote the We Don't Buy Crime campaign.
Other messages which will be used over the next two months include, "Did you steal from this lady?" and "Did you help kill this boy?'" which features a picture of a young man injecting himself.
The We Don't Buy Crime initiative, launched last month, aims to reduce theft by targeting the market in stolen goods.
Many items are sold to fund hard drugs.
