LOCAL businessman, Tony Cosnett, has been elected to replace Tony Bradstock as chairman of Pershore Town.
A member of the club's original squad following re-formation in 1988, 41-year-old Cosnett was elected at last Sunday's annual general meeting when ex-County Sports man, Bob Evans, was named as the new treasurer after the resignation of Don Roberts.
The latter will also take on the role of caretaker club secretary until a new appointment is made.
The Midland Combination club's presentation night saw vice-chairman and programme editor, Terry Conway, voted Clubman of the Year.
Midfielder Simon Brain was named Players' Player of the Year, while Joe Maidment was the supporters' choice.
Shaun Price was named the Under-18 side's Player of the Year, while first team boss, Dave Connell, was named Club Manager of the Year.
Training for the new season starts on Tuesday, July 2 with one definite friendly arranged for Tuesday, August 10 at North Leigh.
Other warm-up games are expected to take place against Shortwood United, Boldmere St Michaels and Stafford Rangers.
