GARDENERS in two villages throw open their gates to the public this weekend.
Ten private gardens are being opened as part of the Hartlebury in Bloom programme.
The village gardening club is raising funds towards the cost of planting the tubs which decorate the highways and byways each summer.
The gardens are situated in various parts of the parish ranging from Titton and Charlton to Whitlenge. Maps costing £2 each are available from Hartlebury School in Quarry Bank.
Gardens are open from 2pm until 5.30pm on Saturday and Sunday.
Meanwhile, the highest garden in Abberley, offering magnificent views of the hills, is one of 13 in the village issuing an open invitation on Saturday and Sunday.
Others include a cottage garden, another with a lakeside walk and a five-acre site with landscaped features.
Coffee, home-made lunches and teas will be available in the village hall from 10.30am and there will be a flower festival in two churches.
Garden details and a map will be available at the village hall.
