FOLK able to spare a few hours a week to help others are being urged to come forward and join Wyre Forest's army of volunteers.
A fresh appeal for helping hands has been launched in the district as part of a national campaign marking Volunteers Week.
Wyre Forest MP Dr Richard Taylor helped launch the week on Thursday at Kidderminster Town Hall before rolling up his sleeves and helping volunteers at the town's Cancer Research shop.
Dr Taylor said: "Volunteering gives you a great opportunity to learn new skills and meet people."
