PUPILS from Bewdley High School will be among Wyre Forest campaigners setting off for Westminster next Wednesday in what is being billed as the biggest-ever lobby of Parliament.
A coachload of protesters from Wyre Forest is expected to take part in the lobby, organised by the Trade Justice Movement, which is calling for fairer international trade rules.
The movement, which is made up of 35 organisations including Christian Aid, Oxfam, Save the Children and the Women's Institute, wants to see new rules to cut poverty and protect the environment.
Elaine Barbour, spokeswoman for Bewdley's Trade Justice Movement, said: "It should be a great day: an expression of solidarity, democracy and an opportunity to bring real change for the poorest of people."
The coach will be picking up supporters in Bewdley, Stourport and Kidderminster and anyone wishing to take part can contact Elaine Barbour on 01299 400617.
