EXHALL and Wixford's hopes of a place in the regional final of this season's National Village Championship were aided and hampered by the elements last weekend.
After being advised to travel to Fillongley, a saturated ground meant that no play was possible on Sunday.
Competition rules, however, state that the rear-ranged tie takes place at the away team's ground so the Cotswold Hills Leaguers will have home advantage on Sunday.
The winners will entertain either Cropston or Bitteswell in the Leicestershire/Warwickshire final on June 23.
