THE Worcestershire FA is holding a second annual Female Football Festival at Pershore High School on Sunday, June 23.
The day-long event will include a six-a-side tournament for all the teams in the county when there will be five age groups - under-10, 12, 14, 16 and an open age section.
Players who turn up on the day looking to play, but without a team, will be invited by those taking part to join them.
It worked well last year with a number playing on the day and going on to join clubs. There will be medals for both winners and runners-up.
The exact running order and duration of the games will be determined by the number of teams entering in each age group.
