In view of the constant rise above inflation that myself and other tax payers within the Wychavon District Council (WDC) area see their council taxes go up every single year, can somebody please explain, why WDC offer a FREE Landscape Plan Service to Commercial Developers/Developers who submit a planning application to WDC and where that application requires a landscape plan?
There are plenty of private local landscape architects who are more than capable of supplying plans to developers to meet the councils criteria and I feel that WDC should either charge for this service, or ensure that I as a Council Taxpayer, do not subsidise such developments in this way by abandoning this service. Perhaps I can then look forward to less over inflated Tax demands dropping through my letterbox every year and I am sure other taxpayers would agree.
I wonder if there are other WDC departments offering FREE services that could/should be paid for by developers commercial or otherwise?
