AN energetic Worcestershire vet who has been using pedal power for charity passed through Worcester during his 800-mile ride from Land's End to John O'Groats.
David Fisher cycled through the Faithful City after starting his journey with two friends from Land's End on Sunday, June 9.
The veterinary surgeon from Lower Howsell Road, Malvern, has been averaging around 90 miles a day since his journey began.
Mr Fisher, who works at the Brentknoll Veterinary Centre, in Bath Road, Worcester, is cycling with Adrian Boswood of the Royal Veterinary College in Hertfordshire and Lesley Young of Suffolk's Animal Health Trust.
Mr Fisher, aged 41, is hoping the group's marathon cycling session will raise £10,000 for three different animal charities.
"So far they've raised £7,500,"said Jill Emms, senior receptionist at Brentknoll Veterinary Centre.
"He came through Worcester at about 9.30am yesterday.
"He's finding it okay, I think. So far the weather has been kind to them - except one day."
