ALTHOUGH the wind made the day rather cool at least the rain kept off and the Jubilee celebrations held at Staunton and Corse School were able to take place outside. All the children enjoyed a tea party and games before the presentation of the Jubilee mugs given by Staunton and Corse parish councils to every child in the two villages up to 16-years-old. For the grown ups there was a pig roast, cakes and drinks before the village photograph was taken.
