THE roar of engines comes to the Three Counties Show-ground next weekend, for the Big Bikes@Malvern show.

The show, which pulled in thousands of riders and fans last year, returns to the town with a wide range of motorcycling paraphernalia.

More than 1,000 machines will be on display at the show, which features everything from superbikes to scooters, as well as vintage bikes, simulators and a mass of trade stands featuring manufacturers, dealers, traders and retailers.

The national police motorcycle safer riding initiative, Bike Safe, will be operating all weekend, with members of the team offering assessed ride-outs, competitions, challenges and more.

As well as the motorbikes, the latest motor homes will be on display as part of the American and European Motorhome Show, which takes place at the showground from Thursday, June 20, to Monday, June 24. The show features the cutting-edge vehicles from the States and closer to home.

There will also be the all-important bar and a wealth of other entertainment for those staying overnight. Each night, there will be music from Herbie James, Mike James and 5 Star Liners.

The bike show is on Saturday and Sunday, June 22 and 23, from 9.30am to 6pm, but bikers can start arriving from Friday evening. Admission is £5 per bike daily or £15 to camp over the weekend. For more information go to www.bigbikesmalvern.com or call 01684 575902.
