basket maker Jenny Crisp will be exhibiting her work at the Roger Oates Design studio shop at Long Barn, Eastnor from tomorrow (Saturday) until June 29.
Jenny Crisp's robust willow trays and baskets are said to find buyers in a thriving international market and in London, where she regularly exhibits.
Born in Redditch, Jenny studied at West Surrey College of Art and Design before serving an apprenticeship in willow growing and basket making with David Drew. For the last 15 years she has been growing a range of willow varieties and creating baskets with strong natural colour and textural combinations.
For this special local exhibition Jenny has made new shapes of baskets geared specifically for the garden, to harvest flowers and fruit.
