A new exhibition at The Foal Yard Gallery, Brans-ford is focussing on the horse as inspiration.
The collection of prints, ceramics, resins and bronzes illustrates a range of media and approaches used by different artists in their representations of horses.
Gallery owner Jeremy Cornwell said: "The variety of styles within the exhibition is really exciting. The work ranges from Fiona Clai Brown's primitively formed ceramic horses inspired by cave paintings, through to detailed and anatomically precise resins created by Keza Rudge and on to the superb sculpture made from driftwood and then cast in bronze by artist Heather Jansch."
Heather, from Devon, is probably the best known of five exhibitors in the show. She has gained international recognition for her driftwood sculptures and will be known for the life-sized horses she showed in a 'Shape of the Century' exhibition at Canary Wharf, as well as sculptures at the Eden Project.
The exhibition runs until Saturday, July 6, and further information is available on 01886 833337.
