SEX education for parents, an orchid in full flower with cultivation guidance and a flight in an aeroplane are some of the lots going under the hammer at an auction of promises on Sunday.
Reverend Jane Fraser, non-stipendiary minister at Upton deanery and also a faith advisor to the Government, has volunteered to provide a talk with video material at the house of the highest bidder on the subject of "talking to your children about sex".
Other prizes include a garden tour of Birtsmor-ton Court and a dinner cooked for six.
The event, which will take place at Bushley village hall on Sunday (June 16), will follow a faith lunch.
It is being organised by Upton Deanery as part of its ongoing effort to raise £5,000 for Anajali School, a newly-established primary school in Kibera, a slum area of Nairobi.
The lunch will start at 12.30pm with the auction at 2pm. Wine will be on sale and catalogues available for 50p.
"Everyone is welcome, and children will be supervised with arts materials in neighbouring Bushley church," said organiser Lambert Bignell.
