UPTON-upon-Severn's Pepperpot Players are taking to the stage with a comedy, The Farndale Avenue Townswomen's Guild Production of Macbeth.
This hilarious play-within-a-play focuses on the antics of an amateur dramatic group valiantly trying to compete in a drama competition with hilarious results.
Pepperpot Players have had to learn the script in a hurry, as the play they had originally chosen for their summer production was unexpectedly withdrawn from copyright at the last moment.
As seasoned troupers, the Players found an alternative. The production runs from June 20-22 starting at 7.15pm in the Memorial Hall, Old Street.
Tickets are £4 from PS Presents in Old Street, or on the door.
